Liverpool Half Marathon questions
When should I start training for the Liverpool Half Marathon?
Most runners need 12–16 weeks. Counting back from Sunday 14 March 2027, a 16-week plan starts on Monday 23 November 2026 and a 12-week plan on Monday 21 December 2026. Start later and Kyrvo shortens the base phase.
When is the Liverpool Half Marathon in 2027?
Sunday 14 March 2027. The organiser confirmed the date with Liverpool City Council and Everton FC, and the race starts at 9:30 am at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Is there a cut-off time?
Yes. The organiser lists a 3-hour cut-off for the half marathon. If you fall behind, you may be asked to move to the pavement or withdraw.
Can I still get a place?
The organiser’s page invites runners to secure a 2027 entry, and charities list places with a fundraising target, with at least one marked sold out when we checked. Entry details change, so check the organiser’s page.
What if I can’t make the date?
The organiser says you can ask to defer or get a refund under its terms, but that is not available within 6 weeks of the event.
Do I need to sign up to see the plan?
No. Answer three questions to see your full plan. Create a free account only if you want to save it and have it adapt.
Is Kyrvo really free?
Yes. Kyrvo is free to use. Any race or kit links that earn us a fee are clearly labelled, and we never sell your data.
