Coaching notes for this course

Out to the countrysideThe race starts on Cox Street in the city centre, heads out past Allesley Park and on towards the Warwickshire countryside, then turns around. Run For All publishes an elevation map, so check it before you set a goal pace.
Back through Coundon Hall ParkOn the way back you pass through Coundon Hall Park before finishing in the city. A turn-around course means you know what the return holds, so keep something back for the last few kilometres.
A big, supported dayThe organiser lists pacers with finish-time flags, water stations and energy stations on the course. Practise taking on fuel in training so race day feels familiar.

Coventry Half Marathon questions

When should I start training for the Coventry Half Marathon?

Most runners need 12–16 weeks. Counting back from Sunday 11 April 2027, a 16-week plan starts on Monday 21 December 2026 and a 12-week plan on Monday 18 January 2027. Start later and Kyrvo shortens the base phase.

Where does the Coventry Half Marathon start and finish?

It starts on Cox Street in the city centre, with a 9:00 am start listed by Run For All for 2027, and finishes in the city. Confirm details with the organiser.

How hilly is the Coventry Half Marathon?

Run For All publishes an elevation map on the race page. We have not copied a climb figure because we could not verify one, so check the map before you set a goal pace.

Is there a minimum age?

Yes. Runners must be 17 or over on race day.

Can I get a place?

Entry was open on the Run For All page when we last checked. Entry details change, so check the organiser’s page.

Do I need to sign up to see the plan?

No. Answer three questions to see your full plan. Create a free account only if you want to save it and have it adapt.

Is Kyrvo really free?

Yes. Kyrvo is free to use. Any race or kit links that earn us a fee are clearly labelled, and we never sell your data.
