Leeds Abbey Dash questions
When should I start training for the Leeds Abbey Dash?
Most runners need 8–10 weeks. Counting back from Sunday 29 November 2026, an 8-week plan starts on Monday 5 October 2026. Start later and Kyrvo shortens the plan to fit, down to six weeks.
Where does the Leeds Abbey Dash start and finish?
Both on Wellington Street, with a 9:30 am start listed by Run For All for 2026. The route passes Kirkstall Abbey and returns along Kirkstall Road. Confirm times with the organiser.
What is the England Athletics 10K Championship?
The 2026 Abbey Dash has been selected as the England Athletics 10K Championship event. Elite places are limited and need an application with evidence of a qualifying time. Everyone else enters through general entry.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. Runners must be 15 or over on race day.
Can I get a place?
Entry was open on the Run For All page when we last checked. Age UK is the lead partner charity. Entry details change, so check the organiser’s page.
Do I need to sign up to see the plan?
No. Answer three questions to see your full plan. Create a free account only if you want to save it and have it adapt.
Is Kyrvo really free?
Yes. Kyrvo is free to use. Any race or kit links that earn us a fee are clearly labelled, and we never sell your data.
