Arla Protein York 10K questions
When should I start training for the York 10K?
Most runners need 8–10 weeks. Counting back from Sunday 1 August 2027, a 10-week plan starts on Monday 24 May 2027 and an 8-week plan on Monday 7 June 2027. Start later and Kyrvo shortens the plan, down to six weeks.
Is the York 10K a flat course?
The organiser describes it as flat and fast. Check the elevation map on the race page for the details.
Where does the York 10K start and finish?
Both on Knavesmire Road near York Racecourse, with a 9:30 am start listed by Run For All for 2027, and an Event Village on the Knavesmire. Confirm details with the organiser.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. Runners must be 15 or over on race day.
Can I get a place?
Entry was open on the Run For All page when we last checked. Entry details change, so check the organiser’s page.
Do I need to sign up to see the plan?
